Priced at $257.76, this collection of native plants is perfect for those hard-to-fill shaded spots in your garden. This garden is sure to bloom without needing a lot of sun. In fact, many of these plants are also tolerant of more sun, making them versatile and easy to care for. Bring some color and life to those shaded areas with our Reservation: Part Shade Garden.
 
This garden includes:
White Turtlehead: Spikes of elegant white flowers top shiny green foliage in late summer and early fall. Grows best in moist meadows, stream banks, and swamps. Favorite breeding site for the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly.
 
Cardinal Flower:  Clump-forming habit with brilliant red flower spikes set against green and purple-bronze colored foliage. Each individual spike of scarlet flowers open from bottom to top and stays in bloom for several weeks. A favorite of hummingbirds. Makes an excellent cut flower. A real show stopper!
 
Obedient Plant: Showy flowers are pale purple to rose appearing on tall spikes which bloom starting from the bottom and working up to the top of the spike.  Obedient plant provides a long season of cheery color in the garden from mid summer until the first frost.  Tolerates wet soil and hot sun.  Hummingbird magnet!
 
Blue Wood Asters:  Clouds of blue flowers in early fall in shade! A great naturalizer under trees, at the edge of woods.
 
Great Blue Lobelia:  The spikes of brilliant true blue flowers on this wetland native attract butterflies, hummingbirds and neighbors to your garden!
 
Sweet Joe Pye Weed: Perfect for shady butterfly gardens, Eupatorium purpureum thrives in semi-shaded woodlands, woodland edges, as well as in full sun. The large pink flowers are a favorite nectar source for Monarchs, Swallowtails and many other butterflies.

  • YOU ARE RESERVING THIS GARDEN PACKAGE FOR SPRING 2025.  This reservation allows us to know what we need to grow during the winter months in our greenhouse.  As Spring 2025 draws closer a date for your package pick up will be established.  All packages are picked up at our farm and gardens in mid Spring as soon as weather and plants are stable.

    Plants will be paid for on package pick up day in person.  We will keep you posted along the way as Spring draws closer with all payment and pick up details.
